At Salado’s Premiere Medical Cosmetic Clinic
At Parlour, we believe remarkable results can be achieved through a combination of the above listed therapies and purposeful product use. A thorough consultation will be performed at your visit by one of our advanced providers. We strive to collaborate with each patient on the individualized treatment plan that will work best with your skin concerns and lifestyle. Whether it is a prescription medication you can obtain at a pharmacy, or one of our state-of-the-art medical grade products, we are excited to tackle difficult lines, wrinkles, discoloration, and texture abnormalities to bring back and maintain a healthy, youthful glow.
Neuromodulators are commonly known by the brands Botox Cosmetic®, Dysport®, and Xeomin®. These treatments have become extremely popular and aide in smoothing and softening the wrinkles that form as a result of repetitive facial movements (frowning, squinting, smiling). Treatments work by blocking nerve impulses to the muscles, causing them to relax. As a result, your expressions soften and the dynamic wrinkles are reduced. If your wrinkles are present at rest, it may take several sessions of neuromodulators or a combination of therapies (fillers, microneedling, PRF) in order to reach the desired results.
These treatments can often be done the same day as your consultation and typically do not require topical anesthetic (numbing medication). Patients must remain in an upright position for 5 hours after injection and should abstain from exercise or other strenuous activity for 24 hours. Mild redness, swelling at the injection site, and bruising are the most common side effects.
Unlike facial fillers, you will not see immediate results with this treatment. Depending on the patient, product used, and area treated, final results are typically reached 5 to 7 days after initial treatments. If this is your first neuromodulator treatment, your injector may initially use a more conservative amount and touch up the results during a follow up treatment. This helps to ensure natural results without the risk of over-treating an area. These results typically last anywhere from 10-16 weeks.
Areas commonly treated include glabella (between the eye brows), forehead, crow’s feet, vertical lip lines (smoker’s lines), bunny lines, gummy smile, dimpling of the chin, and downturned mouth. Neuromodulators can also be used to enhance the upper lip (lip flip), treat excessive underarm sweating (hyperhidrosis), and TMJ (which will often lead to a slimmer appearance of the face).
Fillers use hyaluronic acid (HA), which is a naturally occurring substance found in the skin. HA and collagen decrease as we age, leading to wrinkles and facial volume loss. Both men and women can benefit from fillers. Fillers are typically used to help with vertical lip lines, marionette lines, jowls, cheeks, nasolabial folds and tear troughs.
Depending on your needs, we may use a single product, or a combination of fillers to restore lost volume, smooth lines and soften creases, or enhance facial contours.
Fillers are non-surgical injections and are typically completed during one visit. However, depending on your desired results additional visits may be required. Your initial consultation should be done in person to fully assess any anatomical variances and obtain a complete medical history*. During this consultation, you and your provider will discuss your area(s) of concern, take and review photographs and develop your personalized treatment plan.
*Due to the possibility of complications, it is important to fully disclose your medical history prior to treatment. Certain allergies, previous surgeries, skin and neurological conditions, and medications can jeopardize your safety or results. Please bring a complete list of medications to your consultation, including over the counter, herbal supplements or vitamins.
Hair loss, or alopecia, is a common condition among both men and women. PRF treatments may help naturally regrow your hair with little to no downtime.
This treatment uses your blood’s growth factors to stimulate your hair follicles. Additionally, PRF in hair restoration may stimulate inactive or new hair follicles into an active growth phase.
Your blood will be drawn, as mentioned above, and it will be spun in a centrifuge allowing your PRF to be separated and removed. The PRF is then injected into the affected area(s) of the scalp.
PRF may be used in combination with microneedling, steroid injections, or other medications to help achieve desired results. A series of at least three treatments spaced four weeks apart is required for this therapy and is often coupled with maintenance treatments every four to six months.
As we age, our bodies lose collagen and elastin (the substances that maintain firmness and elasticity of the skin). At Parlour, before a PRF treatment, the patient’s blood will be drawn and then prepared in a centrifuge. This results in a collection of plasma (the liquid component of blood) with an increased concentration of platelets and fibrin. The PRF contains concentrated growth factors, aiding in the body’s natural production of collagen and elastin.
PRF has many medical and cosmetic uses. Commonly, it is used topically after procedures such as microneedling, may be injected with filler, and can be used as an adjunct to treatment of alopecia.
Several sessions, timed four weeks apart, are often required to achieve desired results. There is no required downtime for most patients. However, after the treatment, you may experience swelling and redness to the area resembling a sunburn. This typically lasts 2-3 days. For added comfort, your clinician will numb the area prior to treatment.
At Parlour, we promote overall health and beauty, which begins at a cellular level. However, with the amount of soil degradation seen today, paired with poor dietary habits or malabsorption, it may be difficult for our bodies to get the proper nutrient-dense foods we require. Intravenous therapy helps the body more readily absorb these vitamins and minerals. We offer a variety of injectable vitamins and infusion therapies to help keep the body functional and healthy.
Single dose intra-muscular injections of Vitamin B12, Vitamin D, and Lipo-Mino are also available and can be given during any of your consultations.
- Replenish your body and combat hangover-related symptoms like dehydration, headache, and nausea with our Reboot IV Kit. This premix is one of our various IV nutrition therapy offerings and includes six treatments of premium-quality compounds designed to replenish the fluids needed for optimal wellness.
- Lipotropic injections (Methionine, Inositol, and Choline) can help detoxify and energize your body while supporting the fat burning process and increase metabolism.
Individual injections can be done within minutes after your consultation. IV infusions can take up to an hour, depending on your individualized treatment plan. After the infusion people often notice a boost in energy, mental focus, and hydration status.
