Hair Restoration With PRF (Platelet Rich Fibrin)

Hair loss, or alopecia, is a common condition among both men and women. PRF treatments may help naturally regrow your hair with little to no downtime.

This treatment uses your blood’s growth factors to stimulate your hair follicles. Additionally, PRF in hair restoration may stimulate inactive or new hair follicles into an active growth phase.

Your blood will be drawn, as mentioned above, and it will be spun in a centrifuge allowing your PRF to be separated and removed. The PRF is then injected into the affected area(s) of the scalp.

PRF may be used in combination with microneedling, steroid injections, or other medications to help achieve desired results. A series of at least three treatments spaced four weeks apart is required for this therapy and is often coupled with maintenance treatments every four to six months.
